Hotel California and Vaso Loco, LLC, a company formed by former R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, will host the third annual Todos Santos Music Festival, a seven-day music event benefiting the Palapa Society, AC, who will distribute a portion of the proceeds to other Todos Santos charities. The festival will be held in Todos Santos, located in the southern Baja region of Mexico on January 16-18 & 22-25, 2014.
The Todos Santos Music Festival will feature several nights of live performances at the Hotel California, with the final show taking place in the historic Todos Santos Town Plaza. The lineup, curated by Peter Buck, features a diverse collection of artists ranging from music industry legends to emerging local talent. Confirmed acts include: Peter Buck’s solo project, alternative rock supergroup The Minus 5, the reunion of acclaimed ‘80s alternative rock group The Dream Syndicate, Southern rock outfit Drivin’ n Cryin’, breakout Mexican indie-pop group Torreblanca, Mexican rock fusion band Twin Tones, and Cumbia band Sonido Gallo Negro. The 2014 festival will also feature, for the first time, a local music showcase featuring the best up-and-coming talent in the Southern Baja area.

Join us in the launch of our 2013 Campaign to fulfill our vision and need for a permanent Palapa Society Center. In 2012, through the generosity of Peter Buck and Chloe Johnson, The Palapa Society was given temporary use of a building in the San Vicente neighborhood of Todos Santos to house The Palapa Center. Their kindness gave us a safe and convenient environment to administer community programs. It was their intention that The Palapa Society use this opportunity to begin a campaign to raise funds for acquisition of real property and the construction of a permanent Palapa Center. In 2013, we launched the “Palapa Building Campaign Fund” to make this opportunity a reality.
You can help us fulfill our vision by making a donation to the “Palapa Building Campaign Fund”
