High School

The Palapa School Preparatoria opened its doors with pride in 2018, offering local high school students a unique and dynamic educational experience. These critical formative years are a time when teens become young adults, and The Palapa School remains committed to fostering high academic achievement through a rigorous curriculum and dynamic classrooms. Our hands-on approach builds skills in higher levels of math, language, science, and the arts, creating more opportunities for real-world experiences that foster creativity, collaboration, and commitment to family, community, and the world. This combination cultivates a community of young adults with the potential to become the doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, artists, and leaders of the future.

At The Palapa School Preparatoria, we specialize in community development, as designated by the Secretaría Educación Pública (SEP). Our students discover the value of their own voices and experiences while learning how to make a difference in their community. Participation in community activities allows students to use their academic skills while developing leadership and strengthening their confidence and sense of purpose. Graduates of our program are fully prepared to excel in university or the professional world. In addition to receiving their academic diploma, Preparatoria School graduates proudly earn a certification of completion in community development.
