Sahm Family Foundation
Project: Expand the Arts & Music Program at the Palapa School and Learning Center.
Thanks to the generous support of the Sahm Family Foundation, The Palapa Society of Todos Santos, A.C. has been able to launch an innovative Arts and Music Program. This funding has provided us with the opportunity to integrate fine arts into all core curriculum subject areas for every student, enriching their primary subject matter while broadening their awareness and personal experiences in various art areas.
For students from lower-income families, this art program is often their first opportunity to explore fine arts, as their families cannot typically afford art-related activities. By providing access to art and music education, we are working to bridge the gap between students from different socioeconomic backgrounds within our school and community. This aligns with Palapa’s overall mission to improve the wellbeing and opportunities of all families in Todos Santos.
We are excited to continue expanding our Arts and Music Program, empowering students of all backgrounds to explore their creative potential and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Project: Digital inclusion and use of information
The ‘Digital Inclusion and Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Teaching and Learning Process’ project aims to provide access to quality education by incorporating Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as a central part of a more individualized learning process in the classroom. Our goal is to bring students from semi-rural contexts in the town of Todos Santos, municipality of La Paz, Baja California Sur, closer to the daily use of technology as a work tool and a means of developing learning skills.
Through this project, we aim to empower our students with the necessary digital skills to succeed in today’s world.
